This I a quick sketch I did for someone at a comic store signing thing....dont feel I am very good at likenesses (is that how you spell that? lots of s's) anyways, I think this turned out pretty good no? also excuse the lack of a scan, all I had was a camera phone pic...

JOKER

This is a commission I did of the Heath Ledger Joker, did a little experimenting on this one. turned out pretty good! gonna do more with copic markers....really like them, and also cool that they have it digitally for sketchbook pro....doing more and more digitally these days...but nothing beats good old pen and paper original art. and oh yeah if any of you guys out there in internet land want a commission from yours truly....hit me up at diecast75@yahoo.com thanks! :)

this is a piece I did for a friends short film....POWERLESS. I also have a small part a a douche in a comic store who gets slapped by a girl...art imitates life eh? lol! anyway this is a homage to Spider-man 50. with awesome retro colors by Bill Mitchel!

spotlight inks!

As I get close to being done with the 65 pages of pencils for SPOTLIGHT....now the fun stuff starts....Inks and colors!
this is such a cool project because I get to work with some of my best friends! Marat Mychaels and Bill Mitchel.....Marat did layouts on the book, and some "spot" inks (get it?)....Bill is doing the rest, and its looking good!!!! now I just cant wait to see some colors come in :)
